Hope: Hope Does Not Disappoint // Week #4

December 24, 2022

Tonight’s Key Thought: Hope does not _____________.

Hope; is a feeling of expectation-a feeling of trust.

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.” 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. Luke 12:8-11

“The gospel is good news, not good advice” Timothy Kelle

The birth of Jesus reaches beyond all national boundaries, crosses all cultural restraints, moves across all points of time, and challenges all of our social norms because He was and He is the good news for ALL.

Why hope does not disappoint:

  1. Hope came to _____________ _____________.
  2. Hope came to _____________ _____________.

“Our of a great mess came the great Messiah.” Rich Villados

Personal Application:

  1. What part of my life needs the hope of his saving?
  2. What part of my life needs the hope of his leadership?
