What to Expect

Here are some of the most common questions people ask about their first church experience:

+ What are your weekend Services like?

Each weekend at Turning Point you will find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music and a practical, relevant message. You’ll also find easily understood next steps in how to get involved in the church and how to cultivate a relationship with others and with Jesus.

You can also take a look at our recent services on Vimeo and YouTube.

+What about my kids?

We love families here at Turning Point and we want your kid’s to have a great experience as well. Children are well-cared for in a loving, caring and fun-filled service. Our volunteer teams are screened, trained and ready to help connect your kids with the truths of Jesus. To know more about what our kids ministry will look like, check out our kids and families page.

+ What will happen when I visit?

If you are a guest for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or make you give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us!

Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you. As a guest, you are our VIP! If you'd like the VIP experience and a free gift from Turning Point, make sure you stop by our Connections Center. We have a great team that is ready to serve you and answer any questions you may have.

+ What do I wear?

Most people will typically wear jeans, flip flops or some kind of casual clothes at our weekend service. After all, it is South West Florida. Come in what is comfortable for you, because Turning Point is not about what you look like or what you wear.

+How do I get connected?

There are a few ways to get connected and meet others at Turning Point. You could serve, be a part of our three-peat challenge or even connect in a life group.
