What is Serve Day?
Serve Day is an amazing opportunity for all of us, the local church, to go into our communities and love our neighbors. On this one day of service, thousands of people will take on practical projects to help others, and through these acts of service, we hope people’s hearts will be opened to the love of Jesus. This summer come be a part of serving our communities and sharing the love of Jesus through simple, practical acts of kindness.
We are currently working on putting together 4-5 projects where we can serve within our community. As Serve Day gets closer, we will let you know what options are available. In the meantime, please sign up below!
What should I bring on Serve Day?
Bring any personal items you may need during your project: TPC T-shirt (if you don't have one, make sure you drop by the lobby and pick up one for FREE!) , sunscreen, drinking water, sneakers, a hat, etc. We will confirm any project-specific items you may need to bring: gloves, rakes, lawnmowers, tarps, work tools, etc. Work clothes are a good idea for serve opportunities requiring physical labor, and we recommend not wearing jewelry.
What if it rains?
If your Serve Day project is outside, we can have an inclement weather option available. Some possibilities include visiting a nursing home, serving at a local service organization, or cleaning classrooms at a local school.
