The Growth Track is designed to help you discover your redemptive purpose and live the life that God created you for. Think in terms of steps; everyone has a next step. The Growth track helps you take your “next step” in discovering what it means to walk with Christ. We invite you to dive into what it looks like to follow Jesus.
This class will give you a basic introduction to the story, beliefs, and structure of Turning Point Church as well as a guide for how you can get more connected at TPC. We will also show you the value of how to connect more with others through our life groups. Step One takes place the first week of each month.
Many of us know that we are called to grow our faith in Christ, but we don’t know where to start. This step will give you practical ways you can grow in the spiritual disciplines of reading your Bible, praying, and telling your story. Step Two takes place the second week of each month.
This class will help you discover how God uniquely created you. Through understanding your personality, your passions, and spiritual gifts, you will be prepared to serve others in the way God designed you. Step Three takes place the third week of each month.
This class is your opportunity to get connected to a ministry team at Turning Point. Based on your personality and spiritual gifts that you discovered in Step Three, you will be able to find the team that best fits you. Step Four takes place the fourth week of each month.
We all have influence, and God calls us to take the influence that he’s given us to help point people to Christ and grow through the local church. Step five will help you gain an understanding on how to strengthen your character and gifting to fulfill your leadership potential. Step Five takes place when a month has a fifth Sunday.
Each class is laid back, conversational, and a great place for you to ask your questions. You will walk away with some new relationships and great content to grow your faith.
You won’t receive any pressure from us, but why wait? Whether you are new to faith or have followed Christ for a while, it’s important that we are always taking next steps to grow.
The great thing is that we offer these classes and next steps each month. You can attend the class you missed next month.
We believe discipleship happens everywhere at Turning Point and in the life of a Christ follower. Discipleship is happening in our services, as we serve, in life groups, and in so many other ways. As Christ followers, we need to begin to look at discipleship as consistently taking our next step of faith in Christ rather than simply a program. The growth track, we believe, is part of that overall discipleship idea.
Our classes will be at our new facility and online. It is necessary to sign up for a growth track class and to indicate whether you will be attending in-person or online.
We believe that is the best way to experience the full purpose of the growth track, but it’s not the only way. We simply encourage you to take your next step.
We still encourage you to go through the growth track. As Christ followers, we never stop growing. In fact, in different seasons of life, we learn new things about ourselves and our relationship with Christ. So, why not?
