Who are you inviting?

One of the best things you can do this Easter is invite your friends and family to Easter with you at Turning Point Church! Click and save the images below to invite  through texting, email, and social media.

Make sure you write a personal note too. Here are some suggestions to get you started:

”I’m celebrating Easter at Turning Point Church and I’m inviting you to attend with me. Are you in?”

”I’d love for you to attend Turning Point Church with me this Easter. Will you join me?”

”Would you be my guest and join me for Easter this year at Turning Point Church?”

Glow In The Dark Egg Dash

What is a glow in the dark egg dash? Imagine thousands of eggs and glow sticks spread out on a field lighting up the night.. It’s really pretty cool to see! And on the count of three, each age group separately gets to dash for eggs and candy. Super fun!!!

To make things even more “glowy” this year, feel free to being along a white t-shirt to wear. Not only will the eggs glow, but you will too!

  1. Have their parent sign them up and fill out the Egg Event Registration form completely.

  2. Attend the Easter Kids service prior to the Egg Dash event they want to participate in.

Easter SOWO
Apr

to Apr 21

Easter SOWO

What Is SOWO?

SOWO simply stands for: serve one, worship one. In other words, we need you to serve at one of the services on Saturday, April 20th or Sunday, April 21st. That's the SO part of the equation. Say hi at the door or in the parking lot. Serve at kids check in. Help us set up. Hold babies in our nursery. Be an extra set of hands to do whatever is needed. Pick one of the two services and serve one. That’s the SO! You are needed!

Then, we also want you to worship at the other service. That’s the WO! Attend the other service that you’re not serving at. Why? It's so important to connect with the purpose and heart of Easter! So, do the WO. Worship with the band. Sit with the friends you invited. Engage in the message. Build some community with others. Celebrate with us that Jesus Christ is alive!

Why SOWO?

We want to reach more people in our community this year. To do that, we need those that call Turning Point home to be “all in'“ for Easter. That means serving somewhere will be huge in helping point people to Jesus.

How to SOWO?

Sign up and we will contact you. Thanks for being a part of the SOWO!

Helicopter Egg Drop

What could be more exciting than an Easter Helicopter Egg Drop? It’s pretty amazing to watch a helicopter fly in, pass by a few times and then drop eggs and candy for kids. Wow! With the eggs on the ground and the eggs dropped from above, your kids will have a great time!

Our event is broken down into separate age categories so children can have their own fun and safe experience with kids of their own age. This also give parents the opportunity to be with their children across age ranges.

To provide a fun and safe experience, each child that wants to attend the Egg Drop MUST:

  1. Have their parent sign them up and fill out the Egg Event Registration form completely.

  2. Attend the Easter Kids service prior to the Egg Dash event they want to participate in.

Welcome Party

Welcome Party

If you've been around for a while or are newer to Turning Point, stick around after Sunday's service for our "Welcome Party."  We will have a light picnic where you can connect with others and maybe play a game or two of corn hole.  We will also have a bounce house and water games for the kids.

The really cool part of the day is our baptism celebrations!  We love to celebrate baptisms at Turning Point because they signify the life change that takes place in Christ. Whether you have followed Christ for a long time or are new to the church, baptisms are an incredible thing to watch. It might even cause you to think about some things in your own life.

So why not join us after service and be a part of this exciting event? Sign up for lunch and remember to bring your favorite lawn chair to chill in the shade.

My Story

Stories move us. They challenge us. They cause us to want to live better lives and to be better people. As much as we want our story to mean something, we often fall short. What would happen if we discovered how to make our stories count? What if the answer to our story meant giving our lives fully to Christ? Join us during this series to hear the stories of real people before they knew Christ, their story now in Christ and the challenges that have been a part of their story. When it comes right down to it, this is what we believe: "Every person has a name. Every name has a story."

The Last Arrow

Each of us starts our lives with a quiver full of arrows. Those arrows represent our hopes, our dreams, and the abilities given to us by our Creator. But with those arrows comes a choice: cling to them and to end up with a life of mediocrity or even regrets or trust Christ and risk it all. Only one of these choices puts it all on the line and lets us live a life that is more than we can imagine.

Join the conversation in this series as together we discover the character qualities necessary to live a life of purpose. Let's see what it takes to live a life where you never surrender, never give up and save nothing for the next life.

We will be back at it in the new year on Sunday, January 6th at 10 a.m. Please, enjoy the gift of time with your family and friends! It goes by so fast!!!
