What can we pray for?

Along the way as we have cast the vision for Turning Point Church and have prepared to launch, many people have asked, 'what can we pray for?'  Well, here are six things that keep resonating with us very strongly.  Will you help us pray?

-Pray for our kids.  Change is tough for everyone!  We desire for our kids to see and feel that this change is God's purpose for us.  We are praying for our kids to connect very quickly and build lasting relationships.  We are still praying for three spots to open up (there is no room right now) for our kids to go to the same public school in our community.

-Pray for the launch team.  We've already had people express that they are 'fully in' when it comes to launching TPC.  Pray that God will bless them for their faith and commitment.  Pray that God will unite this team with common vision, passion and action.  Pray that God will continue to expand that launch team and people will respond to be a part!  Our next official gathering in Sunday, March 29th.

-Pray for people to be generous. We can't do this without the generosity of others.  As a family we are taking a step of faith from a secure and comfortable place to a place of no guarantees. We are willing to do that!  We are praying that others will do the same and take a step of faith in giving. Pray people will respond to God's leading.  Maybe God is even leading you to action? Here's how.

-Pray for those moving.  We are fortunate to have a handful of people that are prayerfully considering moving long distance to help build TPC.  Pray that God will provide jobs, provide housing and provide relationships for these people considering this leap of faith to a new place!

-Pray for receptivity and favor.  We know that we live in an increasingly cynical and jaded world that is growing harder to the things of God and the church.  We are simply praying for God to give us receptivity and favor in our community.  Will you pray that God will give us the right connections within our community to serve the people of Bonita, Naples and greater Lee/Collier County?

Scripture says that 'the prayers of a righteous person are powerful and effective'!  Thanks for joining us in prayer to see God's power demonstrated.
