Serving Teams and New Set Up Team Plan Coming!

So, you've been serving at TPC for the first few weeks since we've started.   We just want to say, you guys are amazing.   We appreciate the time you are giving, your willingness, and the early rise times for many of you families.  You are truly serving God and making a difference.

As we grow, we are learning.  Here's a couple of things we want to re-affirm or adjust.

1.  If for some reason you can't make it to serve on a Sunday, please just give us a heads up in advance.   In addition, please contact the person who is heading up that area directly.  It's just faster and smoother.

2.  Please arrive no later than 9:30 if you are on a team to serve that day.  Yes, many, many of you arrive much earlier than that.   However, if you are teaching, shaking hands, passing out bulletins, our teams need to be in place no later than 9.30am.

3.  We are moving towards setting up team schedules.  This give us and you an ability to plan ahead.  It also gives many of us a chance to serve and participate in the service.  Our goal is to have working schedules to you soon.

4.  We want to adjust some things for set up.  Here's what we are thinking.

a.  We need tons of help each week.  Until we get fully established teams we are asking for you to help us set up.  Yes, it's hard, but it is making a difference.  You don't have to ask if we need help, we need it.  Join the team!

b.  We would like to create two complementary set up teams.  One that comes on Friday at 6pm and one that comes at Sunday at 8am.  We are trying to transition that now.  We have access to the building at 6pm on most Fridays now and our worship team is practicing.  This is helping us get ahead for Sunday and to 'breathe' as well that morning.    If it is better for you to serve on Friday's please let us know.   We will adjust.

If Sunday's are better for you, that will still be a reality.  There are just some things we can't do and can't set up til Sunday.  For now, we are still arriving at 7.30am but our hope is to push that back in the next couple of weeks.  If it is better on Sunday's please let us know.

Scott Duval is the guy to talk with in regards to schedules for Friday and Sunday setup.  Please contact him
